A fresh tasting red with a little bit of bite to its bark.

Red

Vintage: 2012
Cabernet Franc is not the most well known grape, and it’s often hard to spot on the label, like here. This is a traditional Loire Valley Cabernet Franc, under the appellation of Chinon (Shi-non). Unlike many of the wines you find on our shelves today, this is made to a more local style and because of that it is designed to go with a bite to eat. It is on the lighter end of the spectrum in body, but the tannins are dry at the end so it’s not really a midweek glugger.
