The short barrel ageing of this wine gives it a creamy texture and a rich palate, whilst maintaining a fresh fruitiness. Unlike the oaked chardonnay of the 90’s, which was sickly and a bit too ‘oaky’, this has a smoothness and refreshing finish. Perfect for roasted flavours.
