Seriously intense, rich and spicy.

Red
Vintage: 2011

This is the top end of the Rhône scale, a serious wine for impressing and savouring over a special meal. Vacqueyras is one of the villages within the Côtes du Rhône appellation and this is from one of the top Châteauneuf du Pape producers. We were tasting this with the goat’s cheese popcorn to show how the dry tannins smooth out with something to eat, a steak sandwich would have been infinitely better!
