Piccini are one of the leading family run producers in the Chianti region and this wine is just the start of what they can do. Chianti is renowned for its cherry flavours, in this wine its reminiscent of early cherries, which haven’t quite reached full sweetness, but as you go up the scale the cherry flavour gets darker and richer. You notice the crisp acidity at the end, making this a perfect pizza wine.
